FoMA’s first public event was a free slide show and lecture at the Library;

it was open to the whole Town and we had a standing-room-only crowd

of 60 people!

David Fixler, local architect, lecturer and writer spoke on the regional

expression of 20th-century modern architecture and showed slides of

modern houses in Lincoln and surrounding towns.

We enjoyed great refreshments and the Library graciously stayed open

for our group ‘way past closing time.  It was a good beginning for

FoMA’s introduction to the Town.
