The Peirce Hill Historic Houses Tour

Lincoln, Massachusetts

On rainy fall Saturday afternoon October 18th seventy guests toured four homes within walking distance of each other in Lincoln, MA. The houses spanned three centuries.

Period refreshments were served at each home:

1730s pumpkin soup and cheese wafers, 1895 caraway seed cake and carrot marmalade with tea, 1937 deviled eggs, and 1958 Lipton onion soup dip with wavy potato chips.

At the end of the afternoon, guests assembled at the Early Modern House for a reception.
